80/20 Mix
Clay pebble, coco mix perfect for high water capacity, with lower watering frequency and quick root formation.
80/20 contains 80% clay pebbles and 20% coco, the perfect flood and drain substrate for increased watering cycles with some water retention.
High water capacity
Gold Label Hydrocorn and Coco is an ideal match for high water capacity, lower watering frequency and better rooting. We utilise the 8-16mm Hydrocorn from Gold Label and the purest Gold Label Coco to give you the perfect flood and drain growing substrate that also works well in any pot based systems.
Buffering
The 80/20 mix allows you to feed less frequently than in straight Hydrocorn but more regularly than 60/40. This gives you a buffer on the watering times but still allows you to feed regularly without overwatering.
EN Litres
Due to the strongly increased international trade, a mandatory European standardized system has been introduced since 2000 (EN-12850 Soil-improvers and growing media - Determination of quantity). The EN volume is measured according to an internationally standardized method, whereby the specific density and humidity are decisive.
